Did you know that ticket sales cover a minority of our costs? We are funded in large part by the generosity of individual donors. Their contributions, both small and large, allow us to perform the music you've come to expect from The Boston Cecilia.

The Donald Teeters Music Director's Fund

We are currently soliciting contributions to the Teeters Fund. Contributions will be used to fund (1) extraordinary programming during Maestro Teeters' final two seasons with The Boston Cecilia (2010/2011 and 2011/2012) and (2) the Selection Season of 2012/2013, when we will present 3 full-length programs--each conducted by one of the three finalists to succeed Donald Teeters as our next Music Director.

Corporate Giving

We encourage our existing supportes to inquire as to whether their employers offer matching donation programs. Many large companies do! This can be an easy way to increase your giving and the impact your support has on our musical programming.

The Boston Cecilia actively seeks the support of corporate donors. If you represent an interested entity, a member of our Board of Directors would be pleased to meet with you and answer any questions you may have about becoming a supporter.

Board of Overseers

Our Board of Overseers comprises a select group of core audience members who support our organization at a major level, and without whose involvement our programming would not be possible.

Overseers enjoy the benefits of special events, such as private performances and talks, hosted or attended by the Music Director, Board of Directors, and Cecilia soloists.

Restricted Endowment

The Boston Cecilia successfully concluded its first Capital Campaign several years ago. Income from this endowment helps fund our general operating expenses on an annual basis. Supporters interested in contributing to this fund should contact the Cecilia office at the address below.
