Come sing with one of the country’s oldest and most acclaimed choral groups. We will be conducting auditions on July 19th and August 30th. We are a multi-generational, mid-size chorus of passionate singers with a rich tradition encompassing a wide range of choral repertoire (both accompanied and a cappella) from the Renaissance to original modern works.
We are back, as of June 12, to rehearsing in-person again, following a long stretch where we were only able to rehearse on Zoom owing to Covid-19 restrictions. We are currently preparing for the Path of Miracles, a collaborative project with the San Francisco based ODC/Dance Company, for the presentation of this original work in four movements by UK composer Joby Talbot. More information on the project to follow soon.
Although we were only able to rehearse on ZOOM, we have been working with Michael Barrett, our new Music Director, for almost a year —studying vocal technique, putting together virtual choir performances and planning our 2021-2022 season.
