Our season opens with an exciting collaboration with Czech organist Lukáš Dvořák and baritone Martin Vydra.
Join us for an exceptional evening celebrating Antonin Dvořák on the 185th anniversary of his birth. One of the greatest composers of the Romantic era, Dvořák has an important place in the history of The Boston Cecilia.

Hear the premiere of Ōgane, a new work written for Cecilia by composer Derek Hurst, and inspired by the sounds of Japanese temple bells. Ōgane is scored for chorus, vocal soloists, and chamber orchestra. Cecilia will complement Hurst’s music with works of Bach, Blevins, Gombert and more.
